Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.</p></div><p><strong>MECHANICAL ENGINEER, HVAC (FACILITIES)</strong></p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports</li> <li>Run air conditioning cooling load calculations, heat loss calculations following ASHRAE standards</li> <li>Lead and/or contribute to design of HVAC systems for various facilities: office, hangar, rocket, and customer payload environmental control systems</li> <li>Design HVAC systems to comply with ANSI/ASHRAE Standards 55
